Brian Smith, the Director of Rugby of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Football Union club the London Irish is keeping all the cards very close t his chest regarding the future of one of the club’s biggest stars, full back Tom Homer.
According to the back pages of transfer gossip, the player, who comes to the end of his contract with the club at the end of the current season, would be moving to fellow Aviva Premiership rivals Bath Rugby in the summer.
Although Smith refused to either deny or confirm any rumours regarding the future of his star player, he did express his admiration for the talents of the 24 year old, who has been an ever present player for the team since he made his debut for the Exiles back in 2008. Smith said that he cannot go about and speak about rumours, adding that he has gone on record and said how highly he rates Homer.
