Surely things are going to change on the international scene now that the Pumas are playing against the 3 southern hemisphere superpower in an yearly tournament, it’s a pity they didn’t get accepted in a few years back, where do you (fellow rugby fans) think Argentina could be..let’s say in 5 years time? And let’s not forget what a tough RWC semi-final they gave the All-Blacks in their own backyard!

The fact is that Argentina being out of Six Nations or Tri Nations haven’t played so many Tests in these years that Parisse couldn’t have so many chances to achieve successes except in the RWC . Anyhow Parisse, despite Argentina-born, considers him an Italian, coz his parents are both Italian, and he started his professional career with Benetton Treviso in Italy.

Parisse should have played with Argentina, would have had a lot more success with them.

basket training & developing of youngsters players always here ….
Stop telling more bs and try to debate on Rugby, thanks !!

….and you’d say another added nonsense of your list of bs ;-))) !!!
He didn’t choose Italian passport ‘cos he’s Italian 100% , he was casually born in argentina and was raisen there due to his ITALIAN father’s job , but he’s argentinian only in your stupid comments !
Suiting your ” astute ” logic , then Kobe Bryant is totally Italian and not american since he was born in Italy . he rose up and went to school in Italy , learned all his basketball basics and he was formed upon Italian

he was born in La Plata to Italian parents who moved there for job reasons. His father is a former Italian player from L’Aquila Rugby, an historical club in center Italy that gave many players to our National Team, like Andrea Masi to name one.

” Sergio Parisse (born 12 September 1983, in La Plata) is an Italian rugby union rugby player.”

WRONG. Its an argentine playing for Italy

    You’re absolutely right.
But at least these players are have a strong link to the country, love this country as it is their own culture and land. And most importantly, it’s what they do as a team. That’s the principle of club leagues in fact. Doesn’t matter what country you’re from, it’s how you use your skills with the others and create good chemistry.

it’s not considered a forward pass

talking about rugby it’s right at all, but in his life everyone is what he really is: If my mother milk and my own blood is Italian I can’t become anything else , such as an eagle is an eagle and a mouse is a mouse!!

  • boquensejmc

    February 13, 2012

I’d say that he chose italian passport because he had no chance to play with the pumas.

  • EllliotJack4

    February 13, 2012

what should i say? Parisse is son of Italian parents, he learned his first skills in Argentina alright, but he play with us coz he feels Italian not Argentinian. And double-passport players who come to Italy are not alwais so good, like Orquera,Gonzalo Garçia etc..

  • boquensejmc

    February 13, 2012

doesn’t matter if he’s italian by blood law. He learned the most he needed in Argentina, Italy’s using a player that has been formed in a foreing country. In the end Italian rugby grows thanks to the argentine rugby, as always was.

  • paraslivemore

    February 13, 2012

this isn’t considerate a forward pass because the player who caught the ball was behind Parisse

haha 2:19 was like 3 metres forward. he passed b4 the 22 and it bounced like 2 metres after

parisse is an italian by blood Law, he was born in Argentina by Italian parents. to be underlined he’s an abruzzese, coming from a very mountainous part of italy. Climate is cold for almost 8 months a year and there’re snowy winter…
